Just spent a couple of days rooting through two of websites. It’s amazing how much the odd edit here and there leaves behind a trail of files that aren’t needed! I’ve just trimmed both sites to be as near a clone of each other as function allows and removed all the old junk still lying around each site…
I’ve now added a 6 monthly task to go through them and tidy up… I think I should add a check validation and examine code note! There are certainly more css tweaks needed over time as well as changes in browser and page sizes.
